Where the Stories Begin
On the grounds of Hartwood Hollow, just past the tree-tunneled gravel drive, stands a cedar A-frame pavilion — ceiling fan overhead, Edison lights strung for the evening, a silver golf cart parked inside like it pays rent.
That pavilion is where Meridian Mogul Media was born. Long before there was an imprint or a catalog, there was a folding table, a laptop, a dachshund asleep at Kellye Potter's feet, and a stubborn belief that a true Tennessee story could charm the whole country.
Every book in this house started as a conversation under that roof. The Ween books took shape there. The recipes were argued over there. The mysteries were plotted there — usually with sweet tea. It's not a writer's studio, exactly. It's a front porch that decided to be a workshop.
